Rainy Days with Rosie
Pt. Reyes Station | March 2019
One of our New Year’s resolutions for 2019 was to try to take Rosie out on an adventure (near or far) every weekend we are home with her this year.
This particular weekend was filled with gloomy skies and rains all day. We decided to pack Rosie’s backpack and rain coat with only the plan to go north get out of the city. With Rosie’s snacks packed and no real plan other than to go somewhere to hike around and take pictures, we ended up driving around with no real destination only to find ourselves choosing to drive to Pt. Reyes.
The drive from Nicasio to Pt. Reyes Station was particularly scenic with the gray clouds and rain contrasting against the lush green trees and hills. Once we made it to Pt. Reyes Station, we made a quick stop at Cowgirl Creamery — made sure to stock up on some delicious cheese and beer. After the goods were acquired, we took Rosie on a short hike along a walking trail not far from the town’s center.
Rosie absolutely loved being able to run around freely and splash in the puddles! Nothing like a little mud and grass to make lil’ Belly a happy pup.
